I know it is not too long since my last request, but I've read your user page and found out that you wish to take a break from wiki editing. Since Panda-Nin also doesn't do much content editing these days, if you are planning to spend some time away from the wiki, I hope you can consider bestow upon me admin status, as this will allow me to access all that I need to help fix things up. If possible, "Bureaucrat" would be great. I'm also a administrator on several other anime wikis and can help provide organization and maintenance to the wiki.
Thank you for your time; please reply when you can.
I can help with maintenance and organization. Also since it seems Panda-Nin now mainly focuses on the German version of the wiki; if you plan to take a break from the wiki, I can help fulfill the the role of admin and help oversee the wiki when you are away.
The reason I put up the poll is that I want to prove that the 1998 Disney English dub of Kiki's Delivery Service is better and more popular than the modern and give a chance to bring it back. Would you please help?
Long story short, TLS version 1.0 was dropped from support by Wikia. Wikipedia does still support 1.0 and 1.2. This caused problems with connections. So no. AWB does not work anymore on Wikia, unless the developers, not WIKIA staff, can update the software. I'll let you know when it is back up, or follow that thread.
All right you got me, two reasons why I want them together, first I want them to bring back the old English dubs from the 90's, most of all, I have a great idea that I would need both companies to make it.
wow, really, this guy really wants to see Disney own Studio Ghibli. I assumed good faith in reading he discussions post. I thought he really wanted Disney to have the entire distribution rights outside of Japan, well, at least in the US/Canada. It appears not the case.
He wants Disney to outright purchase and own Studio Ghibli and make it a subsidiary, kind of like Marvel/Lucas films with Disney right now. I don't like it.
Disney would water it down and make it fit their Disney Vision, which is copy paste, repeat, and repeat, and repeat. Studio Ghibli's Vision is on a whole different world and unique it in is way. Studio Ghibli is a real treasure.
As you can see removing the default skin from the CSS doesn't make the collapsible toggle go away, it just breaks the template and makes it look unpleasant.
The default initial state of the template is "expanded" anyway. Personally I prefer collapsible navboxes because you may have multiple navboxes stacked together and want to specify which box is collapsed or not.
For example here I have 2 Template:Video Games stacked together. One initial state is collapsed, while the other is expanded
BTW, my eventual goal is to build a database for all music used in Ghibli Films, which would require a mega navbox like this one to navigate. It would be a problem if navboxes aren't collapsible.
So again I hope you can consider restoring the default skin to the CSS.
Actually there is a way to make the template not collapsible without breaking it. But can you tell me why do oppose to collapsible navboxes? Is there any ways I may address your concerns? Maybe we can reach some sort of understanding?
If you want to make the collapsible toggle to go away, you just have to add "off" into the parameter. The collapsible toggle will then be hidden. Can you please restore the CSS?
Hello, this place so look much better since you have adopted it! But it is sometime hard to get around. So I want to make some navigational templates similar to those on wikipedia to help make jumping between pages easier. But in order I need to add some code to the MediaWiki:Common.css and MediaWiki:Wikia.css (which requires admin rights to edit). Can you help me to edit those pages? Thank you.
Are you able to create navigational templates without editing the css? I mean, I do support making them and would want you to make a ton of them for navigation. Thing is, I'm not sure if its necessarily to create edit those pages, unless they are contignent on them.
It is possible to create them without editing the css page but the sources code of the templates will be very messy and makes it harder make them and it will also take more time to do so. If you can edit the css page then I will be able to create the navboxes much more efficiently.
The codes I would like you to add are from Wikipedia and Dev Wikia so they 100% safe.
Yes, I have ported Template:Navbox here some time ago. But it is unfinished, it is still missing it's skin. The finished product should look like this. The color of the template can be customized to match the theme of the wiki.
I need some time off from this wiki. I put in a lot of work in making this palce work. I finished an intense 2 month improvement to improve the actors and actresses of the films. Now, I am done. Someone else can step up to the plate. I have faith that Studio Ghibli Wiki is a great place for passion.
I started and put in a new page for the Studio Ghibli Wiki. The new page I put is Wizards. So I thought to let you know and also to put a magical male characters in. And I'm sure the page is in the category. So I will need help working on the page and I will appreciate it. Thank you.
Thank you for the creation of the page. I'd love to work on it. However, for now, I have moved it to userspace as a way for incubation of article. Hope it will get some good amount of information. Thanks. Let me know how can I help.
